Christian mentoring is a unique opportunity to have someone with experience come alongside you to support and guide you as you either start in your career or desire to step into a new level of efficiency and effectiveness. A mentor can be a sounding board, confidant, or a trusted advisor who helps protect you from the pitfalls of inexperience and enable you to excel in your workplace. A mentor is also able to help you identify areas of weakness and help develop skills in those areas where you may be lacking. A mentor helps provide wisdom and insight into situations and help to see the big picture and what is most important to focus on. A mentor provides the freedom to be yourself and grow into your calling and vocation.

Mentoring is more informal than coaching and is directed by the mentee. Meetings times are flexible and scheduled on an as needed basis and can occur over a long period of time.
